Questions Parents Actually Ask

So nothing actually arrives in the post?
Correct, and that is the whole point. You get an instant download. Your child builds each toy from things already in your house: cardboard, tape, straws, bottle caps, rubber bands. No box of plastic parts, no delivery wait, no clutter afterwards.
What age is this really for?
Ages 6 to 12. Six to eight year olds build with a parent nearby for the cutting steps, which each project marks clearly. Nine and up run mostly solo. Experiment challenges scale every project up, so older kids push further rather than outgrow it.
Will my child actually do this without me hovering?
The instructions are written to the child, not to you. Illustrated steps, simple language, tick-boxes they mark off themselves. A small grown-up icon appears only where scissors or something sharp is involved. Your job is handing over the tape and being impressed.
We don't own a printer. Does it still work?
Yes. Every project is laid out to be followed straight off a tablet, laptop or phone propped on the table — one clear step per screen. Ironically it becomes the last screen they need for the next two hours, because their hands are busy building.
English isn't our first language.
The writing is deliberately simple and heavily illustrated, and every science word is defined in a Words To Know box. Many families use it as English practice alongside the building.
My child says they are not into science.
Then don't call it science. Tell them they're building a catapult. The levers, angles and forces come along for the ride, because the learning is not bolted on — it happens because they built the thing.
How do I get it, and can I reprint it?
